ATTARD. On December 30, TESSIE, née Camilleri, aged 81, of Xagħra, Gozo, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted husband Karistu, her sons George and his wife Juliette, Joseph and his wife Michelle, her brother George and his wife Nanine, her sisters Melita and her husband Jacques Anglade, Monique and Charlotte and her husband Gerard Pougnet, all residing in France, her sister-in-law Michelina Hili, her beloved grandchildren Karista, Oliver, Philippa, Maria and George, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital today at 3.15 p.m., for the parish church of Xagħra, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Xagħra cemetery. CACHIA. On December 31, at Karin Grech Hospital, CARMEN, of Floriana, aged 74, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her sisters Mary and Tessie, widow of Alexander Cohen, her brothers Joseph and his wife Marianne, residing in Australia, and Emmanuel and his wife Grace, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CINI. On December 30, CARMELO, aged 92, founder of the company Carmelo Cini & Sons Ltd and widower of Ludgarda née Grech, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Francesca Saverina née Callus, Mary Cini, widow of his late son Nicholas, his children Louis and his wife Josephine, George and his wife Pauline, Carmen and her husband Victor Farrugia, Philip and his wife Dolly, Joseph and his wife Josephine, John and his wife Marlene; also his nephews and nieces Arnold, Fr Charles, Melanie, Marica, Riccardo, Mario, Manuel, Audrey, Edgar, Gabriella, Priscilla, Charles, Lucianne, Mark, Robert and Daniel; his sisters Maria and Antonia who reside in Adelaide, Australia, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3 p.m. for St Sebastian parish church, Qormi, where mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment at the Qormi cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated.

LANZON. On January 1, ANTOINETTE, née Abela, aged 69 of Tarxien, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband John, her sons Pierre and his wife Doris, Charlot and his wife Joan, her daughters Veronique and her husband Dr Michael Boffa, Cosette and her husband Edmond Cuschieri, her seven grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, her mother-in-law Madalena, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for the Augustinian church of St Nicholas of Tolentino in Tarxien, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
