Obituary
BILOCCA. On February 24, at home, surrounded by his family, FRANK of Floriana (ex-President, Floriana Football Club), aged 90, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Antoinette, née Aquilina, his sons Joseph and his wife Rose and Christopher and his wife Annette, his grandchildren Luke and Claire and her fiancé Conrad, Glenn and Gaylin and her fiancé Andre, his brothers Toninu and Gerry, his sisters Lucia and Sister Agnes, nephews and nieces, old Floriana football players who knew him as Ċikku, many relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.15 p.m. for Qawra parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 3 p.m., followed by interment at St Paul's Bay cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
BORG OLIVIER. On February 25, at her residence in Sliema, ALEXANDRA, aged 86, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her children Alexander and his wife Kathleen, Peter, and Jean Claude and his wife Katrina, her grandchildren George, Nicolai, Karina and Stefano, her sister Veronica and her many relatives and friends. The funeral leaves her residence tomorrow at 2.15 p.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CAMILLERI. On February 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, RITA of Naxxar, aged 61, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude and courage. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Frans (ex-Air Malta), her daughter Alison and her husband Trevor Shaw, her son Owen and his girlfriend Claudia, her most cherished grandchildren Conor and Lauren, her brothers Jerry, Tony, Charles and their respective wives, her brothers-in-law Wilfred and Joe of Canada and their respective wives, her sister-in-law Maryrita Zammit and her husband, nephews and nieces and their families, relatives and friends, including those at the National Council of Women and the Floral Club. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Attard parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Attard cemetery. Donations to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, would be greatly appreciated.

DEBONO. On February 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN of Birkirkara, aged 86, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his sons Vincent and his wife Ruth and Anthony and his wife Sorraine, his grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Gabrielle, Justin and Andrew, his sister Maria, in-laws, other relatives and friends. FLORES MARTIN - ADELAIDE (Dela), née Trapani, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church, at Mater Dei Hospital, on February 25, at the age of 97. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Richard, her children, Madeleine, widow of George Abela, and Patrick, her grandchildren Simon, Mandy, Michael, Helena and Mark, her brother and sisters and other relatives and friends. The funeral Mass will take place tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. at Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema.
ZERAFA BOFFA. On February 25, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, LARRY of Vittoriosa, residing at Marsascala, aged 77, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Eileen, his brothers Carmelo and his wife Jessie and Fr Marius Zerafa of the Dominican Order, his nephews Joseph and his wife Karen and Noel and his wife Claire, his niece Marika and her husband William Wait, their children Andrew, Julian, Sarah, Ruth and Krista, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital today at 1.45 p.m. for St Anne's parish church, Marsascala, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.15 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Fund-raising
The Mission Fund group will be holding a weekend of activities to raise money for two projects in Tanzania where Maltese missionaries are lending a helping hand.
Funds collected will go towards continuing work on a school and to build a centre for homeless children in Mwanza, where Sr Domenica Ciliberti works in a clinic that cares for 400 people afflicted with AIDS.
The money raised will also
help with maintenance at a 170-bed hospital run by Sr Maria Borda, in Singida. Works will be carried out at a lepers' village, which houses young children and adults.
The fund-raising activities will be held at the Bay Street Complex, St George's Bay on Saturday and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Exchange programme
A new EU-funded exchange-programme entitled Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs was launched simultaneously in all EU member states including Malta.
The aim of the programme is for young entrepreneurs to share their experiences with more experienced ones In Malta the pilot project will be coordinated by the cooperatives' organisation Apex, which managed to obtain EU funds after entering into a partnership with the Confederazione Italiana Agricoltori.
Cake decoration
A 10-week cake decoration course will be organised by the Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce starting in April. Opera reservations
The Aurora Theatre has opened its priority ticket reservations for the Aida opera, which will be staged on October 10, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of its premiere in the same theatre. Pre-booking reservations will require a €10 non-refundable deposit per ticket.

MLIA meeting
A proposal for a cultural centre that incorporates a state-of-the-art public library in place of the Royal Opera House ruins will be discussed today during the annual general meeting of the Malta Library and Information Association.
The meeting, to be held at the University of Malta library at 6 p.m., will ask members to approve amendments to the association's statute, among others.
