Breast care awareness walk
The Ladies' Running Club and the Breast Care Support Group will be holding a walk on March 8 to raise awareness of the crucial importance of breast care in the prevention of breast cancer. The message is that breast cancer is not rare in Malta but its outcome need not be negative if every woman knows how to care for herself.
The walk will start at the Mall in Floriana (opposite the Phoenicia Hotel) at 9 a.m. sharp and will proceed to the Ferries in Sliema, arriving at 10 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
Men are very welcome to attend too.
If it rains, just bring an umbrella, say the organisers. A t-shirt and cap will be given to each participant against a small donation.
