ELLIS. On July 14, in Barcelona, Spain, to Anna née Quadrada and Richard, God's precious gift of a son - TEO, a most welcome brother to Dan. Thanks be to God and Our Lady.

Obituary

AGIUS. On August 8, at St Vincent de Paul, MARY, aged 86, of Gzira, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her nephews and nieces Edward, Joseph and Michael Woods, May Abela, Ivy Cini, Anna Agius and Vivienne Schembri, her sister-in-law Salvina Agius and her children Vincent Agius, Marianne Dalli and Joselle Bonett, their respective spouses, families and friends. Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. at Gzira parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Villa Mgr. Gonzi, Siġġiewi will be appreciated. May God grant her eternal rest.

DESIRA. Yesterday, at Mater Dei Hospital, Salvina née Zammit, widow of Vincent Desira, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church aged 88. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Joe and his wife May, Victor and his wife Maria, Lorry and his wife Anna, Carmen and her husband Joe and Lino and his wife Rita, their families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 3.30 p.m. on Monday for Żabbar parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m., followed by interment at St Lawrence Cemetery, Vittoriosa. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.

PETTIGREW - JAN, née Langan of Sqaq l'Arċipriet, Għarb, Gozo, passed away in Thailand on July 26, aged 82. With fondest memories from Chantal and David Russell and Jo Warren and Charlotte Van de Meyer.

SAID. On August 2, JUSTIN, of Balzan, aged 32, passed away. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents Joseph and Julie, his brother Joshua and his wife Claire and his sister Janella and her husband Neville, nephews and nieces Jake, Jon and Julia, his grandfather John, aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Balzan parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. WISMAYER. On August 5, DOREEN, widow of Dr Henry Wismayer, passed peacefully away at the Kent and Sussex Hospital, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, aged 80. She leaves to mourn her loss her seven children, Emma, Simon, Timothy, Andrew, Victoria, Charlotte, and Henry, their families and her many friends. The funeral will be held in Kent on Wednesday. A remembrance service will be held on August 17 at 7 p.m. at Casa Leone chapel, St Julian's. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. A beautiful woman with a sparkling wit. Her memory will bring smiles to many.

Requiem Masses

Tomorrow being the trigesima die of the death of our beloved MARK VELLA TOMLIN, the 6.30 p.m. Mass celebrated at the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ibraġ, will be offered for the repose of his soul. May he rest in peace. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated.

Reunion

Rabat Girls' Secondary School, Class of 2002 reunion. On Saturday, September 19 the class of 2002 are going to have a reunion to mark the seventh year since leaving Kanonku P.P. Pullicino GSS Rabat. All students who were in Form 5 in 2002 are welcome to attend alone or with their spouses/partners, as well as all the teachers who used to teach in this school at the time.
