Obituary
DEBONO. On November 13 at Capua Residence, Mary née Cuschieri, widow of Angelo Debono, aged 78, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters, Victor and Marie, Maurice and Joan, residing in Australia, Louis, Imelda and Joe Borg Bartolo, Ethel, Marthese, widow of her brother Tony, residing in the UK, Alfred and Monica, her late husband's relatives, her nephews and nieces. The funeral leaves Capua Residence on Monday November 16 at 9 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MANGION. On November 12, at Capua Palace Hospital, Sliema, SALVINO, aged 98, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his loving children Stephen and his wife Sonja, Bernie and her husband Alec Mizzi, his grandchildren Andrew and his wife Charlotte, Michael and his wife Elizabeth, Mark, Martine and her fiancé Jamie, and Stephie, his great-grandchildren Nina and Sebastian, his brother Manuel, his sisters-in-law Josephine Mangion, Iris Arrigo and Denise Asphar, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, and Anna, his devoted carer. The funeral leaves Capua Palace Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MIFSUD. On November 13, RITA, aged 95, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Annie, her grandson Jozef and his fiancée Elizabeth, her granddaughter Sandra and her husband Pierre, her great-grandchildren Nayeli and Mireya, her sister-in-law Guża Caruana and her family, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital at 7 a.m. today for St Catherine's parish church, Żurrieq where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave at St Leo Cemetery, Żurrieq. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at TW1 at Karin Grech Hospital for their care and dedication. No flowers by request but donations to St Theresa Home, Żurrieq, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MONACO. On November 13, MYRIAM, aged 74, of Qawra, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Maurice, her daughters Charelle and her husband Reuben Abela, Anne Marie and her husband Henri Saliba, her beloved grandson Mark, her sisters and their husbands, her in-laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday at 9 a.m. for the Ta' l-Ibraġ parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Tour of military cemeteries
Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna will conduct a special guided tour of naval and military cemeteries tomorrow, on the occasion of Armistice Day marked on Wednesday.
The tour will be guided by the heritage organisation's chairman Mario Farrugia. It will leave from in front of the Hotel Phoenicia, in Floriana, at 2 p.m. and will be over by 6 p.m. Tickets are at €7 for adults and €5 for children.
Gala dinner
The 1st Sliema Scout Group (Bernard's Own) will be holding a gala dinner on Friday at 8.30 p.m. at Villa Arrigo, San Pawl Tat-Tarġa as part of the centenary celebrations.
