Tomorrow being the 12th anniversary of the death of LILY PACE, a Mass for the repose of her soul will be celebrated at 6.30 p.m. at Ta' l-Ibraġ parish church. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

A presentation on beekeeping and honey production will be held at Victoria Hall, Naxxar oratory, tomorrow at 6 p.m. Melvin Magri, an expert in the field, will lead the discussion. Everyone is invited.

Scratchers winner
Patricia Sammut from Żebbuġ, Malta won the November 2009 issue of the Scratchers 2nd Chance Lottery. She will be enjoying a weekend break for two in London, UK
The prize, worth some €1,500, which includes flights, is inclusive of accommodation, taxes, fuel surcharge and service fees and is offered in cooperation with Air Malta.

Junior lyceum entrance exams
The Junior Lyceum entrance examination into Form 1 will be held as follows: religion on May 3; Maltese on May 4; English on May 5 and mathematics on May 6. All sessions will take place from 8.45 to 10.30 a.m.
Application forms can be obtained from the candidate's school, from the Customer Care Service, Directorate for Educational Services, Floriana, or from the Education Office, Victoria, as from Monday.
The forms should be handed back to the Customer Care Service by noon on February 5. More information can be obtained from Friday's Government Gazette.
Candidates failing one subject may re-sit the examination on July 30.
DLĦ lecture
Medical Facilities For Seamen During The British Period 1800-1979 is the theme of a lecture Din l-Art Ħelwa will organise at its premises in 133, Melita Street, Valletta tomorrow at 6 p.m. The speaker will be Charles Savona Ventura, honorary chief medical officer to the special rescue group, St Lazarus Corps and Hospitaller, and historian to the Priory of the Maltese Islands of the Military and Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem. Entrance is free of charge but donations to Din l-Art Ħelwa's restoration programmes will be appreciated.
Computer courses
The National Council of Women said that Awareness, Advance Awareness and ECDL computer courses start next week with classes being held once a week, from 9 to noon in the morning or and 5 to 8 in the evening. There will be eight students per session.
