Obituary
BORG. On February 26, at his residence in Mosta, CARMELO, aged 90, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his wife Giovanna, née Sant, his children Maria Galea, Joe, Tony, Doris Vincenti, Dominic, Carmen Shields and Dione and their respective spouses, his sister Manuela, his brother Nazareno and his wife Kika, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. at Mosta parish church followed by interment at Mosta Cemetery. No flowers by request by donations to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, or Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.
CAMILLERI. On February 26, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, LINO F., aged 78, widower of Laura née Hili, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Adriana, Stefan and his wife Dawn, and Santina, his grandchildren Niki, Daniela, Stevie, Abi, Jordan and Sophie, his sister Marie Rome Amato Gauci, his sisters-in-law Marie Louise Camilleri, Marylene wife of Paul Galea, his nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said on Monday at 9.15 a.m. at St Julians parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff at St Joseph Ward, Zammit Clapp Hospital and the Renal Unit for ther consistent care, support and dedication.
May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
CIAPPARA. On February 26, JOSEPHINE of Ħamrun, residing at Sta Venera, aged 68, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Tony, her son Karlvin and his girlfriend Rachel, her mother Iginha, her brother Mario Farrugia and his wife Evelyn, her sister Florie and her husband Joe Vella, her sister-in-law Carmen, her brother-in-law George Ciappara and his wife Tessie, her nephews Tonio and Norbert, her nieces Annamaria, Lorraine, Judith and Vivienne, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital today at 7.30 a.m. for St Venera parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, or to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be appreciated.

DARMANIN. On February 25, at her residence in Valletta, EVELYN, aged 76, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sisters Annie, Ines and her husband Maurice Connor, her sister-in-law Myrtle and Lina, her nephews and nieces, Fr Franco Grech, o.s.a., Marika, Marie, Theresa, Tonio, Ian, Aldo, Edmond and their spouses, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on March 1 at 9 a.m. for St Augustine parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

Lottery winners
Noel Muscat from Birkirkara and Nicholas Zammit from Pembroke won the Scratchers 2nd Chance Lottery for the months of October and December. They will both be enjoying a weekend break for two in Rome and Venice respectively. The prize, worth about €1,500, includes flights and is fully inclusive of accommodation, taxes, fuel surcharge and service fees. It is offered in cooperation with Air Malta.
