Obituary

BONAVIA. On January 1,GREGORY (known as Girgor), aged 72, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Annie née Mifsud, his children David and his wife Jeanine, Marie-Claire and her husband Luc Léonard, James and his wife Nerissa, his grandchildren Daniel and Thomas, Elsa Marie, Gianluca and Katrina, otherrelatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 1.45 p.m. for St Theresa Sanctuary, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.15 p.m., followed by interment at Naxxar cemetery. BUGELLI. On January 1, FRANK, of Balzan, aged 69, passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital surrounded by his loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Marlene née Ellul, his sons Joseph and his wife Susan, Brian and his wife Ethel, his grandchildren Laura, Luca, Jana and Matteo, his brother Joe and his wife Rita, his sister Tessie, widow of Alfred Cassar, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Annunciation parish church, Balzan, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Philip, her children Joe and his wife Margaret, Salvu, widower of her daughter Helen, John and his wife Joan, Maria and her husband Salvu, Josephine, widow of her son George, Nathalie and her husband Mario, Sylvester and his wife Therese and Marika and her husband Patrick, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, her husband’s brother Emanuel, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Attard parich church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Attard cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

MIZZI. On January 1, at St Vincent de Paul, EVA, née Galea, widow of Anthony, of Valletta, aged 86, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children George and his wife Lina, Charles and his wife Margaret, Anna and her husband Simon, Silvia, widow of Joseph, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul on Tuesday at 1.30 p.m. for St Venera parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.
