BORG CARBOTT. On March 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, The Noble MICHELINA of Valletta, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Rosemarie, Bernardina and her husband Joseph, Anna and her husband Martin, her son The Most Noble Baron of Grua Daniel and his wife Rita and her grandchildren Francine, Giselle, Matthew, Stephen, Maria, Luke, Andrew, Justine, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for Ta’ Ġieżu church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere well be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Hand postmark

Maltapost will today issue a special hand postmark to mark the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Fontana parish church. It will be available at the Maltapost Victoria branch and can be ordered by mail from the Philatelic Bureau, Maltapost, 305, Qormi Road, Marsa.

Gas sales

Weight management

The Sliema council, in collaboration with Vivian Corporation, will today be holding an informative weight management discussion for all residents. The event will be held at the council offices between 9 and 11 a.m.

Blood donation

The mobile blood donation unit will be available for blood donation next to St Francis parish church, Qawra, tomorrow, from 8.30 a.m. till 1.30 p.m.
