BETTRIDGE. On March 21, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Nadette née Clare-Talbot and Gregory, God’s precious gift of a first-born son – KIAN ASTON. Thanks to our family, friends and all the staff at the hospital.
CAMILLERI. On February 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, to Lorraine, née German and Kurt, God’s precious gift of a daughter – NIKKI, a most welcome sister to Mattea and Nina. Special thanks to all midwives and staff for their dedicated care.
DEBONO – RENÈE ELÌSE. On March 1, to Caroline née de Jongh and Jean-Claude. A cute little sister to Olivier and Laura, a precious cousin to Jerome and Kristy and a treasure to all the family. Special thanks to the staff at Mater Dei Hospital Maternity Ward.

AZZOPARDI. On March 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, AGNES, B.Pharm., of Luqa, aged 80, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Carmelina, widow of Anthony Bugeja, and Margaret, widow of her brother Joe Azzopardi, nephews and nieces, their respective spouses and families, cousins, other relatives and many friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 2.30pm for St Andrew’s parish church, Luqa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Luqa cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
BORG. On March 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, EMANUEL, widower of Carmela, of Tarxien, aged 83, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Joe and his wife Josephine, Carmen, Margaret and her husband Manuel Zammit, his grandchildren Edward and his fiancée Daniela, Rebecca Marie and Mattija, his brothers George, Joseph, Josue, Anthony, his sister Sr Maria Venerina, in-laws, other relatives and friends. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Marilyn née Bonnici, his loving children Patrick and his wife Janet née Micallef Eynaud and Joanna and her husband Mark Vassallo, his grandchildren James, Michael and Julia, his brothers Edgar and his wife Mary, John and his wife Gertie in Australia, Anthony and his wife Ena Maria, David and his wife Annabelle, Joseph and his wife Marie Louise, his in-laws Dr Alfred Bonnici and his wife Elda, Lilian and her husband Robert Rendle, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
