Obituary
BONNICI. On May 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH F., aged 77, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Anne, née Darmanin, his sons Keith and his wife Fiona and James and his wife Josette, his grandchildren Adrian and Jonathan, his brother Vincent and his wife Marigold, his sisters Vera, widow of Dr George Hyzler, and Annette and her husband John Borg, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. A funeral Mass will be said today at 2.30pm at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at Tarxien cemetery. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors at home. Grateful thanks go to the staff at the Renal Unit, Mater Dei Hospital. Merciful Lord, grant him eternal rest.
BORG. On May 29, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, GIOVANNA, widow of John, of Sliema, aged 79, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Lucienne and her husband Brian and Noel and his wife Sylvana, her grandson Alessandro, in-laws and their respective families, Doris and her husband Anthony, Annie and her husband Louis, Margaret and her husband Richard, Lina, widow of Anthony, Rose, widow of Alfred, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MUSCAT. On May 29, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, JOSEPH of Gżira, widower of Annie, née Brincat, former supervisor of International Airadio Ltd and Department of Civil Aviation, aged 91, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his children. He leaves to mourn his great loss his children Anthony and his wife Mary, Charles and his wife Dorothy, Raymond and his wife Monica, Margaret and her husband Charles Tedesco and Nathalie and her husband George Cassar, his grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre tomorrow at 8am for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
