Another fish farm!

I think all the people that pass by the coast road can see the brand new fish farm placed directly in the middle of Qawra bay. It is very sad that an industry like this is ruining our sea. The sea is there to be enjoyed not to be polluted. I wish some form of action will be taken because soon enough the sea will be flooded with fish farms. Not that it isn't already. People like me care about the sea as I spend most of my time on it and I would not like to start swimming in fish oil.

Another major issue is that it will affect Malta from an economic viewpoint. This can seriously damage our tourism. Who would want to swim in rubbish? Also, the diving industry will suffer. Thinking about it, these fish farms can attract big fish like the Great White shark. This could generate negative publicity to our tourism.

Another major problem is that Malta is not gaining any money from this business.

In my opinion Malta's sea is what keeps the tourists coming. If the fish farms aren't removed there is going to be a serious drop in incoming tourism.

Japan gets all the nice sushi and we get all the smells and rubbish. No thanks.
