Anti-virus experts meet in Spain

Joe Aquilina, director at Management Information Systems Ltd, has attended the second Panda Software International Country Partner Convention in San Sebastian, Spain.

The event addressed company representatives from around the world and discussed a number of strategic aspects of corporate policy. It also addressed the imminent launch of Panda Software`s two new corporate antivirus solutions, Panda Antivirus Enterprise Suite and Panda PerimeterScan.

Speaking about his experience, Mr Aquilina said: "The event proved to be very successful, during which representatives of Panda Software from around the globe got the chance to meet and discuss different strategies being adopted by Panda to enhance the marketing approach for its excellent antivirus products."

Panda Software`s international network of offices now extends to over 45 countries.

"The strategic expansion plan that began in 1996 is structured around a network of franchises and subsidiaries and is ultimately aimed at placing the company at the head of the world antivirus market," Mr Aquilina explained.

"Panda Software has grown solidly and quickly in recent years. In the last year alone, sales were 44 per cent up on the previous year, reaching some x35 million. Along the same lines, Internet sales increased sixfold over the same period," Mr Aquilina said.
