The Blood Bank has issued an urgent appeal for blood donations, saying reserves are at a critical low and the situation is alarming.

The Blood Bank is located opposite St Luke's Hospital in Guardamangia.

The appeal followed a spate of incidents. A man and a woman were critically injured yesterday and two motorists was seriously injured this morning.
