Kare4Kenya, which was awarded the National Recognition for Youth in Society 2003, is seeking sponsors for the children it helps in Kenya.

Kare4Kenya is a non-profit non governmental development organisation based in Malta working to help Kenyan children reach their potential.

The group originally began with 29 volunteers who raised funds and later worked in Kenya for a period of two months in summer 2002. Five of them formed Kare4Kenya as it is known today. They provide over 70 children with the necessities for school including uniforms, food and medical assistance while creating awareness in Malta about the real conditions that these children live in.

Kare4Kenya's main project this year involves finding sponsors for the children in order to make it possible for them to continue their education.

Those interested in sponsoring a child for as little as Lm5 a month may contact Christine at cgriscti@kare4kenya.org or phone 9945 9332.

Donation may also be sent by cheque payable to Kare4Kenya, 29, C. Tridenti Street, Ibrag STJ 11.
