A total of 355 persons made a formal application for refugee status between January 1 and November 15 this year.

Replying to a parliamentary question by Labour MP Gavin Gulia, Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg said there were 384 persons who filled a preliminary questionnaire in which they registered a wish to apply to be recognised as refugees.
