UNESCO's National Commission in Malta is inviting Maltese nationals and organisations to submit requests for the funding of projects which may be eligible for UNESCO funding.

Such projects or action plans must relate to the promotion of education, science, culture and communications. Preference will be given to projects that are of a trans-disciplinary nature and would be of benefit to Malta and other Mediterranean countries.

Requests for funds can be sought for the setting up of projects; for the services of specialists and consultants, the printing of publications, periodicals and documentation, the purchase of materials and equipment, and the organisation of conferences, meetings and seminars.

Forms for submission of requests can be downloaded from www.unescomalta.org. Requests should be submitted by tomorrow and addressed to Prof. Charles Farrugia, UNESCO commission chairman and a staff member at the Department of Primary Education in the Faculty of Education.

For further information contact Violet Farrugia via e-mail [email protected].
