The sudden and unexpected demise of Brother Edwin has created a very sad void in our hearts.
Despite his age at 78, he was always young looking, an epitome of goodness, kindness and gentleness.
Bro. Edwin taught physics to thousands of students at both De La Salle and Stella Maris colleges. This scientific subject was deemed difficult to impart but he was an excellent educator. As a result, he was admired by all staff and students alike.
It was a real pleasure to meet him whenever my wife, who taught at De La Salle for 30 years, and I occasionally visited the school. We both felt at ease in his presence.
Dear Bro. Edwin, we shall miss you deeply, but believe me, the good Lord will surely welcome you in his heavenly kingdom.
