Archbishop Charles Scicluna arrived in Marsaxlokk on a traditional boat yesterday evening to lead a pilgrimage along Xatt is-Sajjieda and on to the Parish Church.

Mass was then said in the square in front of the Church.

The traditional pilgrimage was first held in the Marsaxlokk Parish on May 8, 1963, the feast of Our Lady of Pompei.
