Archbishop Charles Scicluna is to hold a meeting with Fr Mark Montebello and the Dominican Provincial after The Malta Independent carried an article showing Facebook photos of the priest blessing the rings of two men who got engaged.

A Curia spokesman confirmed that the meeting will be held tomorrow.

Fr Montebello, a Dominican priest, did not wish to comment.
