Reference is made to James Tyrrell's letter in which he refers to PA 3195/05, a plot in Mellieha, whose architect is Catherine Galea. Mr Tyrrell's assertion that "...this case which clearly should never have been approved" is a gratuitous opinion betraying emotion rather than knowledge of the planning system.

The application was approved after the architect complied with the directions given by the DCC regarding changes in the plans. The permit was issued by the competent deciding body, the DCC, in complete conformity with planning policies and regulations. Any assertions to the contrary need to be factually backed up to be credible.
