Marie Amelie Gleisez Dewavrin, president of the Institute for Maltese Culture, has made a donation to Mgr Vincent Borg of the Mdina Cathedral Museum.

The donation will be used to purchase moveable scaffolding for the museum archives.

The archives are being set up within premises in Villegaignon Street donated to the museum last year by the Noble Agatha Formosa Gauci.

The intervention of Salvino Busuttil, former chairman of the Cathedral Museum resources council, was instrumental in securing the donation.
