Arrested lap dancers

The "Lap dancers arrested" news item led me to believe that the police had decided to crack down on certain activities which can surely not be considered as having a positive effect on society (and are, at least prima facie, actually illegal). But, no!...

The "Lap dancers arrested" news item led me to believe that the police had decided to crack down on certain activities which can surely not be considered as having a positive effect on society (and are, at least prima facie, actually illegal).

But, no! The reason was much more serious: they were working without a work permit! To be still more exact: the permit had simply "not been renewed".

Does this mean that the Government Gazzette had included a list of "lap dancers" as offering work for which no locals were available? At least that sounds positive!
