Arsenal are among the seven founder members of the Premier League who are still in the English top flight, the others being Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
From the start of the Premiership (1992), the Gunners went silverware-happy and collected lots of honours.
Under Frenchman Arsenal Wenger, the fans rejoiced many a time and this summer the Gunners extended their silver streak by winning the Community Shield when beating Premier League champions Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley Stadium.
Wenger has been at the Arsenal helm since October 12, 1996 and the FA Cup win of last season saw the Emirates Stadium supremo leading his team to an unprecedented sixth cup success for a manager in the English game.
