The Commission on Domestic Violence in collaboration with the Vodafone Malta Foundation held a drawing competition for students entitled A Home Without Violence with the aim of raising awareness on domestic violence.

The competition was open to students aged between eight and 16. A total of 274 students hailing from 21 Maltese and Gozitan schools took part.

"The commission strives to educate youngsters on the issue of domestic violence," Gemma Mifsud Bonnici, chairman of the Vodafone Malta Foundation, said.

"Most of the time, the children are the ones to suffer the most during domestic violence through the experiences in their homes. This competition was beneficial for both the children and their families and the foundation was more than happy to lend a hand."
