The 7th Share Your Heart activity, organised by artist Denis Calleja in collaboration with the University of Malta and the Maltese Association of Social Workers, was held on the Gozo ferry yesterday.

Fourteen people with special needs from Dar il-Kaptan and the Gozo Adult Training Centre, together with helpers, boarded the ferry at 9 a.m. and painted the morning away.

The activity was inaugurated by the parliamentary secretary in the Social Policy Ministry Frans Agius, who said Share Your Heart allowed persons with disability to express their emotions through art and offered them the opportunity to discover and develop hidden talents.

Dr Agius appealed to the public to continue raising awareness so that persons with disability would find their deserved place in society.

Personalities such as Xandru Grech, Moira Delia and Antonella Vassallo joined the activity.
