Artists roll out their barrels

Twelve artists have been invited to give their personal interpretation of wine and vineyards in an exhibition being hosted by Camilleri Wines later this month at Gallery G in Lija.

The artists taking part are Anna Galea, Lawrence Buttigieg, Catherine Cavallo, John Martin Borg, James Vella Clark, William Azzopardi, Denise Borg Millo, Alex Dalli, Celia Borg Cardona, Anna Grima, Arnold Sultana and Carlo Jourdan. Claudio Camilleri, Camilleri Wines' head of sales and marketing, said the organisation of the event was in line with the company's efforts to establish itself as a promoter of all that's Maltese, including Maltese art.

The Wine and Vineyards exhibition will be inaugurated on March 23 and will remain open until April 8.
