Matthew Asciak left Malta earlier this week on his way to Miami, Florida in the United States, where he will take part in a prestigious junior tennis tournament - The Orange Bowl.

The Orange Bowl is widely acclaimed as one of the most important junior tennis tournaments worldwide.

It is open to the best U-14 players from all over the world. Asciak has earned direct access to the main draw on the back of the good results he obtained this year.

The tournament will be held at the renowned tennis centre situated at the University of Miami.

Asciak is accompanied by his coaches, Gordon Asciak and Nicky Sullivan, and is being assisted once again by the Malta Olympic Committee (MOC) and the Malta Tennis Federation (MTF).
