A Somali man was yesterday charged with assaulting a man in a bid to stop him from testifying against him.

Abdi Hussein Aadan, 31, pleaded not guilty to assaulting Olad Ali Abdighafur to cause him harm on Saturday.

Police Inspector Josric Mifsud prosecuted.

Dr Beppe Fenech Adami represented Aadan.
