A St Julian's man was yesterday given a two-year jail term suspended for four years and put on probation for four years for assaulting three policemen and slightly injuring one of them.
Victor Stellini, 25, pleaded guilty to assaulting PS Martin Agius, PC Chris Attard and PC Nikolai Sant and threatening and injuring PS Agius at the St Julian's police station on Tuesday at about 11.45 a.m.
He also pleaded guilty to disobeying police and breaching the peace.
Police Inspector Mario Tonna prosecuted.
