At least 17 people were hurt after a collision between two trains on a track in northeast Italy on Sunday evening, firefighters said.

None are believed to be seriously injured.

A high-speed train and a regional train crashed on the line between Bologna and Rimini, the fire service announced on social media, before saying at 9.45 pm that rescue operations had been concluded.
