Charles Cilia and St Patrick's AC new acquisition Charmaine Sciberras, were again the winners of the second Gudja 8km road race, organised recently by St Patrick's AC and the Gudja Local Council. Cilia, of AS Libertas, crossed the line first in 27.12, five seconds faster than his timing last year. Jonathan Balzan and Drew Lang, both of St Patrick's, were second and third respectively. Sciberras, fresh from her LRC six-mile race success, won the ladies' race in Gudja in 30.26, ahead of Angela Sammut and Danica Spiteri, both Saints members. The winners of the junior races were Marouska Cutajar and Antoine Borg.
