In line with its policy on customer care for this year, Atlas Insurance Agency has just completed the refurbishment of its front office area. The new office, designed by Architects' Studio, Balzan, is based on clean, uncluttered, modern lines.
Each workstation is planned so that it provides a new generation of customer care to clients: a complete move away from the old 'counter' type of service to individual private areas which afford complete privacy for clients discussing their insurance requirements, while channelling the flow of clients in the most effective way possible.
This is just one of the client service initiatives carried out by Atlas this year. Atlas has chosen 2002 as a year based on client feedback. In 2001 the slogan "Ask Atlas!" was launched and in 2002 it was modified to read "Ask Atlas! Or better still, ask our clients..." where Atlas is basing its corporate advertising on client comments.
Atlas commits itself to an ongoing training programme for its staff, to ensure that they can give the best possible service and advice to present and future clients.
Another recent initiative is a comprehensive customer service survey being carried out with a view to assessing client perception of the services and products Atlas offers. These surveys will be instrumental in providing clients with a more direct response to their requirements.
Atlas Insurance Agency is one of the largest insurance operations in Malta, with a staff complement of just under 100 and a branch and subagent network throughout Malta and Gozo.
