August Moon Ball on the sixth

This year's August Moon Ball, held to raise money for the Malta Community Chest Fund, shall take place at Verdala Castle in Buskett on August 6.

President Eddie Fenech Adami and Mrs Fenech Adami yesterday launched the ball at San Anton Palace, in the presence of the organising committee which this year is being chaired by Michael Grech.

Patrons of the ball will be treated to a gala dinner, prepared and served by Island Caterers, with live entertainment by Val Valente, the Police Musical Group and the Band of the Armed Forces of Malta. Floral arrangements will be designed and prepared by Therese Sullivan and her team of floral artists.

The committee expressed thanks to Marsovin, the main sponsor of this event, and also to Enemalta as well as a number of other sponsors.
