A British Airways plane made an emergency landing at a Turkish airport yesterday after smoke appeared in the cockpit, the state Anatolian news agency said.

The Boeing 767 plane had been on its way from Abu Dhabi to the Danish capital Copenhagen when it made the landing at Trabzon airport, on Turkey's Black Sea coast, it said.

All 327 passengers on board were in good health, NTV commercial television reported.

Turkish media gave no other details. Officials were not immediately available to confirm the incident.
