HSBC Bank Malta plc are offering a range of gifts to students who throughout Freshers' Week open a new HSBC Student Bank Account and have their stipend directed into the account.

All new HSBC Student Account holders will also be eligible to take part in a competition offering a variety of prizes.

Students opening an HSBC Student Account and directing their stipend to it will receive a free beach pack complete with portable radio and beach towel (until stocks last), 12 Go Mobile discount vouchers with each voucher giving students a 10 per cent discount on every Lm5 electronic top-up, internet offers on dial up and ADSL connections from Web Waves Ltd, the opportunity to buy a laptop and other offers.

Those who had already opened an HSBC Student Account during summer and have already collected the beach pack, will receive the additional gifts by mail.

New HSBC Student Account holders will also be able to take part in a Complete this Slogan Competition.

Go Mobile subscribers may send their slogan by SMS on 5070 5005. Students may also write their slogan on the competition form available. The winner of this competition will win a Lm250 travel voucher. Other prizes include an AIWA high power micro system, a BenQ digital camera, an MPIO Mp3 player and two Sagem MMS phones with Lm25 talk-time each.
