Wallace joins Dikembe Mutombo, winner in 1995, 1997, 1998 and 2001 as the only player in NBA history to win the award three or more times. In 74 games with the defending NBA champions this season, Wallace averaged 12.2 rebounds, 2.38 blocks, 1.43 steals and 9.7 points a game.
