Belair Real Estate is currently experiencing a positive spell. This is not only confirmed by the opening of its second retail outlet earlier this month at the Strand in Gzira but also through the intense activity that is currently underway within the organisation.

"The inauguration of this new office is the result of a series of initiatives undertaken by the company throughout the past months," sales and marketing director Ian Casolani said.

"The opening of this outlet has helped us carry out an intense restructuring project. Our office in Sliema's busy Bisazza Street has been in operation for 37 years, during which time Belair has established itself as one of the leaders in the letting market. This office is now mainly dedicated to the letting business of the company and therefore, we are in a position to exploit our new office in the Strand, on concentrating and enhancing our sales team in view of better handling of our core business," he added.

Belair's local activity has turned out to be successful and connections and experience gained within the local market have served as an ideal stepping stone for targeting the foreign market.

In fact Belair is also constantly developing various contacts with foreign property buyers whom the company updates with new offers and properties in Malta and Gozo.

"We are very experienced in working with foreigners seeking to buy their second property in Malta either for holiday, retirement or even work purposes," Mr Casolani explained.

"Through this experience, we have now established a good relation that is ongoing and by word of mouth, we are constantly getting more new business. However, besides this 'casual' means of doing business, we have also recently signed new collaboration agreements with four UK property agents and other European agents with whom we are co-ordinating a number of interesting business prospects, among them corporate investors interested in buying more than one property in special designated areas, and others interested in hotels," he said.

Malta is considered to be an attractive destination primarily due to the islands' wealth in cultural heritage and a lifestyle which appeals to affluent property seekers.

"Therefore, our participation in these specialised exclusive property exhibitions is an effective medium to promote outstanding properties as well as giving Malta a consistent presence in the overseas property market," Mr Casolani added.

Although Belair Real Estate employs only 12 employees, the company is well positioned to face an increasingly aggressive market.

"We are aware of the huge competition in such a small market so we make it a point to finetune our overall service. We are in a position to approach every client with far more attention thus turning every deal into a satisfying personal experience. We are a small team but with a big heart and a committed dedication to bring Belair to the fore," he concluded.
