Driving towards the entrance of our tunnels gives you the feeling of complete loss in the sudden change of lighting - from powerful, glaring sunlight to a very dimly lit tunnel with, of course, the consequent fearful feeling of an anticipated accident. This feeling stays with you until you exit into the sunshine again.

Shouldn't our tunnels be much better lit?

Another thing. If I am not mistaken, there are sidewalks along our tunnels. Can the edges of these sidewalks be given a coating of luminous paint? Thus, the headlights of the cars can catch these markings and prevent drivers from crashing into the sidewalks.

A few months ago a woman driver was seriously hurt when the car she was driving hit the sidewalk.
