Latest results from an independent survey have shown that X-fm radio station increased its audience by 86 per cent in just six months.

The survey carried out by the Research Bureau shows X-fm has increased its share of listeners in Malta to 8.4 per cent.

Mark and Simon Grima, directors of Grima Communications Ltd, operators of X-fm, said the results of the survey were in line with the companies' directive to make X-fm Malta's number one music station.

X-fm broadcasts 24 hours a day from its studio complex in St Julians.
