Birkirkara coach Stephen Azzopardi has received a Lm20 fine by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Azzopardi was sent off from the Birkirkara bench by referee Anton Zammit in the final minutes of his side's 1-1 draw with Marsaxlokk after he gestured towards a section of opposing fans following William Camenzuli's late equaliser.

Three players from Premier League clubs have been suspended for one match.

These are Anastas Kristo of Lija Athletic, Cesar Paiber, the Marsaxlokk libero, and Valletta midfielder Keith Fenech.
