Birkirkara, the Super Five Cup holders, must follow the same route as last year to reach the final again this season after they were drawn with Sliema in the semi-finals.
In 2002, the Stripes had the better of Sliema 3-1 on penalties before trouncing Hibernians 4-1 in the final.
The second semi-final is also a repeat of last year as Hibernians take on Valletta who were beaten 8-7 on penalties.
The Super Five Cup semi-finals will be played on Monday, December 22 at the Centenary Stadium with kick-off times set for 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The final will be played the following Sunday at the National Stadium at 4 p.m.
It will be preceded by the third/fourth place play-off which kicks off at 2 p.m.
If the result of any Super Five Cup match is still drawn at the end of regular time, no extra-time will be played. Penalties will decide the contest.
Apart from the Super Five Cup, contested by the best-placed four teams in last season's Premier League, the draws for the Division Two/Three and the Youth Knock-Out competitions were also held yesterday at the Malta FA offices in Valletta.
