It seems that nowadays no one has any more pride in his work. Unfortunately this also happens when articles are written and news is reported in the media. One must not forget that such things become history - put down wrongly!

I regret to read the article about Bishop Vincent Costa (June 15), which says that Bishop Costa is a Jesuit. For historicity's sake, let it be known that Bishop Costa is a diocesan priest, hailing from Birkirkara.

Bishop Costa last month was invited to take part in the festivities held in honour of St Rita at St Roque's church in Birkirkara.

For the record, Bishop Costa was given a very warm welcome at St Roque's church and was offered by the benefactors who frequent that church the nice sum of Lm6,000 in aid of the seminarians in his Diocese of Umuarama, in Brazil.
