Black October Fest, which is being organised by Investate and sponsored by IVALIFE, is Malta’s newest shopping and entertainment event, taking place at MFCC, Ta’ Qali from October 23-26, 2025.
Blending early Black Friday deals with live shows, gaming, food, and music, the event promises a four-day experience where shopping meets celebration. Visitors can enjoy Crash Hour Sales, a dynamic Esports Zone sponsored by A to Z Electronics, and an Oktoberfest-style Beer Garden featuring top local artists including Dario Genovese, Kersten Graham, Matthew James, Claudia Faniello, and Kurt Calleja.
“Black October Fest by IVALIFE isn’t just another fair – it’s an experience,” one of the organisers said. “From exclusive early Black Friday deals to live performances and entertainment for all ages, this event captures the spirit of fun, community, and great shopping.”
The festival also includes family zones, car and motorcycle showcases, and a food area with street food and international flavours. With hourly giveaways, free entry for children under 12 years, and entertainment for all ages, Black October Fest by IVALIFE is set to become Malta’s biggest retail and lifestyle weekend of the year.
Black October Fest by IVALIFE is happening from Thursday, October 23 till Sunday, October 26. Opening hours are: Thursday and Friday from 6pm till 11pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 11am till 11pm.

Crash Hour Sales
Surprise Crash Hour Sales take place randomly throughout the day, offering limited-time discounts and energising the atmosphere across exhibitor stands.
Esports Zone, sponsored by A to Z Electronics
A dedicated gaming area featuring cutting-edge simulators, interactive setups, and a Tekken Tournament with a €1,000 prize pool. Open to both casual players and serious gamers, with free-to-play sessions during the event.
Live entertainment
Hosted by Sander, the entertainment stage will feature games, challenges, and skits every hour, with prizes provided by exhibitors.
Music and performances in an Oktoberfest-style beer garden
The Beer Garden serves as the event’s social and entertainment hub, offering an Oktoberfest atmosphere with great food, drinks, and a full live music line-up.

With both sweet and savoury options available, the Food Area promises to be a key attraction where visitors can relax, socialise, and enjoy great food and drinks between shows and entertainment.
