No one was injured when a delivery van caught fire in Naxxar Road, Birkirkara, on Tuesday morning.

The blaze, at 10.10am, quickly enveloped most of the van.

The display window of a nearby shop suffered slight damage because of the heat from the fire. 

The incident also caused a major traffic jam.
