The first Summer Living Boat Show got off to a good start with over 500 people turning up to ogle at the ships' curves vying for attention along the Valletta Waterfront.
The show, which opened on Thursday and runs throughout this weekend, enticed so many people on the first night that the organisers are planning to make this an annual event.
Network Publications set up the show for the first time in the wake of the success of last September's edition of the Valletta Boat Show, which has been held for the past three years.
For a boat enthusiast there is plenty to see, from speedboats to jet skis, dinghies to yachts. Event manager Christine Borg said: "There are about 50 exhibitors displaying their products in this edition. This show is all to do with preparation for summer."
Ms Borg added that, in spite of being out of season, the organisers had to turn away exhibitors due to demand.
"We managed to fill up the Waterfront," she said.
Offering more than just seafaring vessels, attendees can view the chicest outdoor furniture, pool equipment and a vast array of boating accessories.
They even have the chance to win a brand new Audi TT-S Roadster. The show is on until tomorrow.
Live entertainment is also on tonight and tomorrow, for children and adults.
