Daniel Bogdanovic has long been hitting the headlines in recent seasons, mostly as an executioner in front of goal, apart from his ability as an assist.

The four goals he netted for high-flying Marsaxlokk in three matches during November and December and others he provided for his team-mates testify to this player's qualities. These exploits have rightly earned him the BOV Player of the month for the last two months of 2006.

This season his consistency as a goal-scorer has flourished, to the extent that he is currently lying second in the scorers' list with 15 goals, one fewer than Sebastian Monesterolo, of Valletta.

The Marsaxlokk striker's new lease of life under the charge of coach Brian Talbot has been one of the reasons why the southerners are enjoying an excellent run and are perched well above the other contestants at the top of the BOV Premier League.

If this player's consistency is maintained he will certainly be instrumental in helping his team win the BOV Premier League for the first time this season.
