World and Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt will race at Ostrava, Czech Republic, on May 31, after adding another European date to his programme ahead of August’s World Championships.

With the Jamaican set to defend his world 100m and 200m titles at the August 27-September 4 World Athletics Championships in Daegu, South Korea, Bolt will use the Czech meet as part of his preparations.

“I do not know which race I will compete in,” said Bolt, who will be racing in Ostrava for the fifth time.

Bolt broke his own world records when he ran 9.58 seconds for the 100m and 19.19 seconds for the 200m at Berlin’s world athletics championships in 2009.

He was also part of the team which set the 4x100m relay world record of 37.10 seconds at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
