The current volatility of the equity markets drove investors to prefer bond-based investments, Kenneth Farrugia, assistant general manager of Valletta Fund Management said.

He said this was reflected in the successful launches of the La Valette Sterling Income Fund and the La Valette Euro Income Fund by Valletta Fund Management.

Mr Farrugia was one of the speakers during the latest quarterly sales seminar organised by VFM for Bank of Valletta employees.

The seminar, which also addressed VFM's achievements during the financial year 2001/2 and its forthcoming plans, was held at the Hilton Malta and formed part of Valletta Fund Management's training programme.
