Bank of Valletta has selected Microsoft Dynamics AX2009 as its core general ledger application to keep pace with growing demand and set up the company for further future success.

Working with Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Crimsonwing Malta, BOV will roll out Microsoft Dynamics AX2009 general ledger, replacing an existing legacy system and bring dynamic new information management tools to the bank’s management and employees.

“We are very pleased to be working with Microsoft on this project for Bank of Valletta,” said James Bonello, managing director for Crimsonwing.

“We look forward to leveraging our Microsoft Dynamics expertise to help Bank of Valletta streamline their processes around the new general ledger application. The robust capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics AX, coupled with Crimsonwing’s implementation experience will enable BOV to obtain a rapid return on investment as well as support their long-term business goals.”

Microsoft Malta general manager Pierre Mallia said that this was for Microsoft a significant project in terms of size and strategic importance. Microsoft won the project following a rigorous vetting process.
